Soar to Infinity (S2i) Book Club reconvened for its 9th episode on October 6, 2024. This session was arguably the best the club has held to date, delivering an experience that was truly exceptional. From the meticulously designed set, elegant dress code, engaging book discussion, thrilling rap battle, and networking session to the insightful main talk delivered by Ian Khonje, every element radiated excellence.
Dressed in exquisite corporate office attire, the audience perfectly embodied the spirit of the book discussed that day, The Richest Man in Babylon. Many members took the “dress to impress” theme to new heights, but at a corporate gathering like this, there's no such thing as over-dressing!
The book, through the lens of ancient Babylon, delves into timeless financial wisdom. A key character, Dabasir, became the focal point of the discussion, as his story resonated deeply with the audience. His journey mirrored the struggles of many young people today, who often face the burden of debt and limited income.
